Last summer was HOT, remember? So it seems that some of last year’s harvest, even though we did the alcoholic fermentation on the skins, is lighter in color than usual. And it’s also lower in alcohol than our past vintages. So what does that mean for our 2022 offerings? Well, it seems we have a pretty nice Sangiovese rosé in a couple of barrels. It’s a very pretty rose color with a lovely aroma and bright cherry flavors bursting out. Chills up nicely and will be great when the heat kicks in! It’s not bottled yet. We’ll let you know when it is!
